Mini-Squall

When you work on a boat you need to dress right cause the weather can change fast…

At 6:00am it had all the makings of a fine day, the kind you dream about in October. I figured I’d be extending my summer tan. Instead, a patch of dark clouds was gathering through the morning haze and we were heading right towards it…

Autumn Posing

Now that I’ve left Summer behind, I thought I’d feature Aeva‘s Elijah skin gift again, but this time with some more seasonal looks. It’s tough finding good skin gifts for men, so don’t miss this one, particularly as it includes all skin tones. Also, if you like the skin, the official release version (i.e. without beard) is now out in the store.

Goodbye to Summer

As much as I like football and pumpkins and bobbing for apples, I’m not quite ready to give up Summer just yet. Thankfully it’s always Summer somewhere, especially in SL, and Flow‘s excellent boardshorts and retro swim suits from this month’s Mens Dept (ends Sep 30) provide a nice excuse to ignore the season and enjoy some SL rays. The boardshorts have a texture-change band and like the swim suits are available with liquid-mesh sizing in a range of colors and at an attractive price.

The avis feature skins by (Red)Sand (previously bogged here) and a recent gift from Aeva with shapes by Novus and Shape it Up. Hair is from Alli & Ali (including a current group gift), where numerous styles are on sale for 50l through the end of the month.
