Drama Queens

American Bazaar keeps coming out with great stuff for both men & women at events like the new She & Him and I hope to show some AB menstuff in the near future (yes, it’s true). But here is Astrid channeling her inner bad girl in AB’s new retro tops and pin-up shorts combination from the latest edition of the Boobies Show. These outfits with their various color combinations and vintage vibe are guaranteed to bring lots of attention as you wander around the grid starting drama.

The hair here from Tableau Vivant and MONS are both gifts from Hair Fair, which ends today (or maybe tomorrow, I’m so confused). In any case, if you haven’t been, rush over before it ends for the latest releases and some amazing free stuffs. Safari Style

Some lovely items today with a safari theme all modeled by Astrid. The one-piece Mesh tiger motif outfits are a Hair Fair gift from Mystic Tiger that includes various colors/detail options and separates. The beautiful dress and skirt/top are both from 22769 for this month’s Safari theme at The Boutique.  They are available in a range of colors and as usual from 22769 at very affordable prices during the event.

California Bungalow Pt.2

Since it’s hard to let go of that California style, here are a few more shots in and around L&K Prefab‘s Blue Bungalow from the April edition of the Challenge that I blogged a few weeks back. Sun, surf, wine and outdoor showers seem mighty appealing after an endless Winter and now cold, dreary Spring in my neck of the woods.

Clothing in the post is from two current hunts: Men Only Hunt 3 and the You’ve Been Tangoed Hunt. For the guys, Men Only Hunt is not to be missed. Missqwerty and the Flair for Events team have brought a great selection of designers to the third edition of MOH and I’ll have more from that hunt in a later post. For the women, You’ve Been Tangoed has over 40 stores with gifts for 1l all with Tango appliers. Hints and the store line-ups for both hunts can be found on the websites.

The hair in the first two pics is a new subscriber gifty free from Miss C. Slap the subscriber in-store to receive a complete fatpack of the Nana style and if you join the group you can get new fatpack gifts for both men & women (joiner fee of 30l for the group). The female skin is a recent release from Aeva (shape by Anna Shapes), but there is also a new group gift skin available in-store (group free to join) and a special event underway with discounted items to raise money so Aeva’s owner, Amesha Jewell, can keep creating. Screen Scenes

Kusshon‘s It’s a Man’s World Screen, available at Mens Dept through today (after in store), makes a nice vintage decor item and was fun to use as a backdrop for some retro style photos. My friend Sidney Bluestar of Sup Poses got inspired and made some pin-up type poses to go with the screen, now available for sale in her store with a prop of her design.
