Tekila did a nice post earlier on American Bazaar’s 3rd anniversary sim hunt, but since I’m a fan of AB I thought I’d post some more items from that hunt with Astrid enjoying the waning days of SL’s summer. You can find Delirium Style‘s texture change top and AB’s skirt gift from that event along with some accessories and Saal Body‘s excellent pose gift.

Screen Scenes

Kusshon‘s It’s a Man’s World Screen, available at Mens Dept through today (after in store), makes a nice vintage decor item and was fun to use as a backdrop for some retro style photos. My friend Sidney Bluestar of Sup Poses got inspired and made some pin-up type poses to go with the screen, now available for sale in her store with a prop of her design.

Lots of events ending today or this weekend (Tekila pointed out some below) such as Mens Dept, The Arcade, Skin Fair, Whore Couture and various hunts. Lavender Dreams

Monochrome Hunts is back with their latest color-themed hunt, the Lavender Hill Hunt, and like usual there is a nice mix of fashion & decor items to be had. I’m tardy showing the gifts – the hunt officially ends on Mar 10 – but you still have time to get the things you want (note gifts cost 5l). Check the hunt blog for previews of most of the items.

Some of my favorite furniture gifts include [Circa’s] coffee table and pouf set. The coffee table comes in two versions and contains a fascinating miniature garden with butterflies. Breno‘s bunny chair will also make you smile and is perfect for the season. On the fashion side, Epicosity‘s Mesh suit is a must for men and Immerse has a lovely purple Mesh dress that pairs perfectly with the necklace gift from Sigma Jewels.

My female model here features a great combination of a Shape It Up! shape found at the Free*Style store for just 10l and a gift skin from Deesse’s. The male is the same Kirk skin from Essences I blogged last time– it’s so nice I haven’t wanted to take it off- here combined with Step Inside‘s shape from the SYSP anniversary hunt. Note that the SYSP anniversary hunt has lots of good gifts for women (see the last pic for one of the outfits). Delicious

Tomorrow is the end of the Femboy hunt and I couldn’t let the occasion go by without concocting a little something delicious. Aeva has a great skin/shape combo in the hunt (includes all tones), perfect for showing your more feminine side, although I suspect the skin would work well with other shapes. I’m wearing the A:S:S: gift from the hunt, which would probably, ahem, look equally good on women and the hair is a “survey” gift from Chichikee! (includes multiple tones and female hair as well). To get the hair gift, all you have to do is answer a few questions from the survey machine located in-store. It takes a minute and is well worth it. Update: Chichikee! owner Chiana Meredith had actually just removed the survey from her store, but will put it back out only through the weekend  – so show her some love guys (Chichikee! also has MMs and freebies located in the basement discount section).

Four Walls and a host of other hunts also end tomorrow. If you haven’t gotten Sway’s gift yet, take a break from shopping and treat yourself to a cupcake.
