Four Walls

For the decor fans there are amazing hunts on now and I’m sure some of you are already out doing them (Hello Lilith). The Four Walls hunt brings SL’s top designers offering up some excellent gifts that should fit well with your design schemes. Gifts cost 20l so you need to choose wisely. There are too many standouts to name them all, but some of my favorites shown below include a great dresser from Pilot, a cool lamp from Vespertine (one of three), Cheeky Pea‘s hockey items and a fun guitar prop/chair from Zinnias.

Two other furniture hunt options now underway are the Courtyard Hunt (Free) and Cold Winter Nights (10l) You can see previews of almost all the gifts on the various hunt websites.

More from Port Richmond

A few more scenes inside the skybox from my last post, including a general view of this nice build from [Deco] on sale at Mens Dept.

Avis are the same as last time (see my previous post for info on gifts from Essences & Anna Shapes, also check the sale rooms for the new sale items from these designers). I’m not sure if the Golden Apple Hunt gifts are still available, but I hope some of you guys made your way over to the NYC sim to grab those items.

The fashion here is a mix of Mens Dept, two really nice group gifts from +HuHu+ (a relatively new store with some cool designs – check it out) and an excellent Christmas gift for women from English Muffin. Note that EM’s gift includes the dress shown plus six female skin tones and it is just one of a whole mess of Xmas gifts (100L joiner fee). EM also has a 1l Secret Santa Gatcha with some other gifties. Update: I’m checking with the owner on the availability of the Christmas dress. It is a new gift, but I can’t find it in the store now. Will change the post accordingly when I get more info. Update 2: The English Muffin gift is now there in a teddy bear under the tree, currently set to free – no group required. Update 3: I’ve just been informed by loyal reader Azurea, that the EM gift (still in the Teddy Bear under the tree) is now free to the group and 75L for non group members. ooof…Thanks Azurea!

Pocket Billiards

The latest Mens Dept round has been underway for a while and it features another nice skybox from [Deco] that is great for entertaining with plenty of room for a pool table recently released by End of Daze. And since billiards are best played à deux, some charming company was clearly in order. Of course, after breaking in the table, the evening progressed to other games…

Note that the female fashions are partly from the Golden Apple Hunt, which is a nice little hunt on the NYC sim through December 24 with 12 pretty amazing gifts at a small price of 12l each (see pics of all gifts on the hunt blog). Also both the Essences female skin from TDR Fusion and the shape from Anna Shapes at Designer Circle are in sales ending some time later today, but Essences has just released a new group gift skin and Anna Shapes has a similar shape gift in the Amarelo Manga Christmas hunt (go into each store and find the Santa hats).

I’ve focused more on the female side of things here, but I’ll have a bit more Mens Dept fashion and some general views of the build in a later post.
